Workshop With Senior Instructor Annukka Holland - April 2007.

Annukka has been studying directly with Master San Gee Tam for over 15 years and brings a very thorough interpretation and knowledge to her teaching. Her Tai Chi is very powerful and at the same time beautiful to watch. Her gentle energy provides a comfortable yet highly effective introduction to working with a higher level instructor. Her sense of fun and true joy of life will ensured that we all had a very enjoyable and rewarding day, that will nourish and inspire us all for a long time. She is the embodiment of gentle yet effective power and working with her has helped us get in touch with that quality in ourselves.

Workshop with Job Koesoemobroto. December 2006.

We were pleased to announce the return of Job Koesoemobroto to the U.K. Job (pronounced ‘Yop’) lives in the Netherlands and he is the Chief Instructor for Golden Flower School in Europe.

Job has already realised one of his dreams, managing a great personal achievement in setting up his own Tai Chi Centre on the bank of the river Rhine on the lovely Roswaard Estate in Holland. From this Centre Job runs regular Tai Chi Instructor Training programmes and holds very popular Tai Chi Retreats If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these retreats, we can highly recommend them - they are great fun and this really helps make the learning of Tai Chi become more relaxed and enjoyable.

Job has trained extensively with San Gee Tam, the founder and Master of the Golden Flower School, and continues to do so. Job also learns from masters and skilled practitioners of the Tai Chi arts in Holland where he has a growing School of students.

Job led the Tai Chi workshop at Oving, near Chichester in West Sussex. Tricia and Martin Pomroy (Golden Flower Instructors in West Sussex) hold regular classes and Tai Chi workshops at a venue in this village, which is in a tranquil rural setting. The building itself is remarkable and students comment on how much they like practising Tai Chi in main hall which appears particularly conducive to the practise (it has good chi).

Job provided training and insights into the Golden Flower Tai Chi Form and the related exercises.

The principles of Tai Chi are universal so whether you are familiar with Yang style Tai Chi (on which the Golden Flower Tai Chi Form is based) or on another ‘family’ style of Tai Chi, or indeed, if you have only minimal knowledge of Tai Chi this workshop will benefit you greatly.

Working on first principles and giving clear explanations of the various foundational building blocks of Tai Chi we came away with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the art.

This was really is an opportunity to move our Tai Chi forward on to a new level!

Job is well versed in the teachings of the Golden Flower curriculum, is dedicated in his own practise, and his love and respect for Tai Chi communicates powerfully. You will find authentic teaching here as Job is a good example of a skilled exponent of Tai Chi who can demonstrate and apply everything that he claims yet does not brag or inflate his abilities.
